donutmedialab.com — Some of the ways a person can lose weight is by following a healthy diet and accompanied by regular exercise. Even so, of course, the journey of weight loss is not an easy thing. Everyone also feels a different level of difficulty losing weight.
Apparently, a person’s blood type can cause these difficulties. According to Consultant Nutritionist, Dr. Seema Khanna, people with blood types AB+ and AB- have the most difficulty losing weight. This is because they find it difficult to change their eating habits. In contrast, people with blood types O+ and B+ can more easily change their eating habits.
Dr. Seema adds that blood type B+ has a higher Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), making them less likely to gain too much weight. For blood type A, as quoted from the Times of India, Dr Seema said, “For them, weight gain and loss depends on their genetics,” In order to help people with blood type AB and other blood types, Dr. Peter J D’Adamo, a naturopath, created a series of diets dubbed the “blood type diet”.
