donutmedialab.com — The search for Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz in the Aare River is still ongoing. Support continues to flow for Ridwan Kamil’s family.
“Monday morning (30/5) the parents of Mr. Eril, Mr. Ridwan Kamil and Mrs. Atalia, accompanied by Ambassador Muliaman Hadad, were visited by the Mayor of the City of Bern, Alec Van Graffenried, who expressed deep sympathy for the parents of Mr. Eril,” wrote the statement. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia on its official website.
The Indonesian Embassy said Graffenried conveyed his full support in the search for Eril. Ridwan Kamil and Atalia also met Heinrich, a resident of Bern who helped Eril’s sister, Camillia Laetitia Azzahra (Zara), up to the mainland from the Aare River, Switzerland. Zara is known at that time to swim with Eril.
Previously, the family said that Eril had rescued Zara and her colleague, who had lived in Switzerland for a long time before being swept away by the current and screaming for help. Heinrich is a local resident who helps Zara get to the mainland.
“Heinrich also conveys his deep sympathy to Mr. Ridwan Kamil, and receives appreciation and gratitude from the family of Eril’s brother,” the Indonesian Embassy wrote.
Eril disappeared while swimming in the Aare River on Thursday (24/5), at around 11.24 local time. The search for Eril continues to be carried out by the SAR team, the police and the local fire department.
In addition, searches are also carried out using drones. The government of Bern also fully supports the search for Eril and continues to provide updates through various platforms, including social media.
