The World Health Organization (WHO) has just announced the official figures for the number of victims of the COVID-19 pandemic for the period 2020-2021.
Based on data, there are around 14.9 million people who died due to the pandemic or in a broad estimate of around 13.3-16.6 million people.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said this data could be a reference so that countries begin to prepare strong and strong health systems in the future.
